About Me

BBoM: Brighton, Michigan, United States; Brush Benders held it's organizational meeting in January 1982 at the Paint 'n Place in Howell, thanks to the leadership & drive of Ruth Dolsen. The First Presbyterian Church in Brighton was where Ruth demonstrated Peter Hunt's folk art style of painting at the first meeting. Ruth, Joanne Bellmard, Pam Wittman & Millie Quinn continue to be active in the group.
